Looks good. The more times RS gets up to bat the more times he has to hit it out of the park. I appreciated \'Prometheus\', regardless of it\'s flaws. He\'s a unique artist who has delivered iconic films again and again, but he\'s not a machine. Expectations are high.

As much as I want this to be good, that spacesuit is a big red flag. I remember reading somewhere that when designing "Alien", he wanted the uniforms to look practical - no Star Trek-y futuristic stretch fabrics or Star Wars-y design affectations. He wanted everything to look utilitarian and authentic and that authenticity is part of what creates the stunning design "depth" of "Alien" and "Blade Runner".

But what is up with these suits (and the "Prometheus" suits for that matter) - they look Designed (cap D!!) to within an inch of their life - sort of something you might see in a Marvel superhero movie. And why oh why would you make a suit for a barren planet match the terrain? Wouldn\'t it make it needlessly harder to spot your fellow astronauts?

It looks both labored and sloppy.

Thesaurusrs, where can i get my hands on this "really fine script?" i\'ve seen some of Goddard\'s work and "really fine" isn\'t one of the apt descriptions of his work. Ridley is a great visual stylist but his films oftentimes falter due to lazy screenplays.

Several of these are stunningly beautiful. Honestly, if Ridley can\'t take the great source material, great cast, and Goddard\'s really fine script and do something really good, then he has passed the Rubicon. The script and cast are good enough that all he has to do is match them in quality visually and it should all be good.
