SILENCE has been one of Scorsese\’s passion projects for over a decade. If I recall the film has been his \”next project\” since The Aviator but something has always gotten in the way whether it be finances, actor schedules, or just bad luck.

Either way, if Scorsese is 100% dedicated to shooting SILENCE next I am pumped!

This has been one of my favorite books since I read it in college. I\’ve been suffering through the ups and downs of bits of news surrounding it for like 4 or 5 years now. I am not taking anything for granted on this until he is behind the camera in the Japanese swamplands.

I\’d bet The Wolf of Wall Street is next after Leo finishes Hoover. Daniel Day Lewis is expected to shoot Lincoln this Fall.
