What the f-k is wrong with Paramount? Principal photography wrapped in May of last year, and they don’t even know if it’s coming out this year? Plus, we don’t even have a *poster* for this movie yet. They’ve done absolutely *nothing* to let people know that Silence is coming out. This is ridiculous. They need to put this movie out there AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. I’m not waiting another f-ing year for it.

They could position it like The Revenant was last year by opening it limited [2 theatres] on Christmas and then go wide in January. It would compete with Fences but only in LA and NY at one theatre each.

If it’s half as good as the book it’ll take Best Picture whichever year they release it. Allied script is reportedly to be remarkable so it won’t be an easy decision. I think it’s an issue any other studio would gladly have.
