Thank God. Halle Berry was easily one of the worst parts of the old X-Men movies. She made Storm laughably bad (which is a real shame).
Also, I'm all in for the new Spider-Man. I don't see much to hate. Not sure whether it's more to Garfield's credit or Webb's, but I think they got Peter's demeanor and characterization down perfectly. The first one wasn't perfect, but it was fun, dammit. I'm pretty nervous about the excessive amount of villains in this upcoming film, though…

It is an open question whether audiences will still find Webb's "brand" to be interesting, desirable, or unique once his "Spiderman" obligations have been wrapped up. By the time he manages a non-tentpole follow up to "500 Days," nearly a decade will have passed.

And that doesn't even consider the potential for artistic atrophy after laboring in the rarefied atmosphere of high budget/low oxygen comic book movies. Will he even be hungry enough to make a picture without a crew of 200, deep pocketed resources, and a cadre of assistants to help him through the experience? Will he even want to?

Just look at Bill Condon. He went into the "Twilight" franchise with a highly respected, Oscar-y niche brand, and re-emerged with "Fifth Estate."

Enough said.

Good! I dont want him to direct any other spiderman films he sucked on the first one and he'll probably ruin the upcomign spiderman and atleast hes not gonna ruin the fourth one.
