Ripping yourself off is one thing, but Guy Ritchie is really a sad excuse for a filmmaker.

It is kinda confusing, as it is this cerebral ID/EGO battle in the end, but that said it was still pretty enjoyable and an admirable attempt to make the heist movie something more.

I’m sort of curious how the recut version will be. i wonder if they’d even try and take all that stuff out and make it a straight up heist film. I may need to go see it in the theaters.

It seemed completely incomprehensible to me, with a random mishmash of styles and an over-the-top performance from Liotta. I assumed at the time that my experience was caused by my weak understanding of the dubbed French, and I was relieved when I saw online that no one could make sense of it.
