Such a weak rumour, blame geography!. I think even if you hate Abrams, he was probably aware that Star Wars would shoot in the UK like all the other Star Wars movies.

I saw Abrams speak at the PGA conference just a few weekends ago when he spoke about moving his family to England for the film. There's definitely no chance he's leaving if the plans are in motion to move his whole family. I'm so sick of internet "reporting" these days. Journalism is definitely dead.
