Okay, not fully optimistic but in general I\’d definitely like to see if someone could make it work. That said, as much as I love the original film, it\’s all style and little substance when you break it down (but it still manages to work on levels that probably infuriate people of more discerning taste) and I worry that taking it too far into territory that it was never in for the remake will hurt it. However, I\’m still optimistic – even with the news that a traditional score will be in it.
