But, all the media focuses on “outfits” and gossip. Picture the pre-game Superbowl commenting on the models that the players are dating. Filmmaking is an incredible achievement, which is lost on the lowest common denominator. There were amazing films this year, in which the Oscars brings awareness to these pictures, obviously, but the promoting is all lame. I watched the Spirit Awards, the Screen Writers, etc. All good, but please, Oscars, stop focusing on the dresses and Ryan Seacrest.
