Sorry, I misunderstood my "good authority". She just informed me Wayne does not die, I guess he just gets his back broke and becomes a cripple for the rest of his life. That's when he invites Levitt to take over Batman for him. As to how he brakes his break she would not say, but I assume it must be Bane.

Good article. Here's my thoughts on the plot of TDKR: 1. Bruce Wayne is about 40-41 in this movie and injured which I believe is a long term consequence of the 3-story fall at the end of TDK. 2. Selina Kyle is a government agent sent into Gotham to investigate new developments from the terrorist Bane whom she's has firsthand experience with in the past. 3. Bane and Batman have a huge final fight for the ages in the Batcave of all places. What better way to end the film then with an aggressive and brutal Bane looking totally wipe out a physically inferior Batman and what he stood for. I believe Bane will absolutely crush him. He'll not only crush him, but he'll destroy the Cave also. But, Batman will beat him by removing his mask. Just my thoughts.

I have to say this that even though AMC claims the film will be 2 hour 45 minutes, something I believed was accurate once, could be wrong.

And I have it on good authority that by the end of the movie, Bruce Wayne is dead at the hands of Bane, only after saving Gotham, and that John Blake is the new Batman (nobody but those closest to Wayne being any the wiser).
