The screenplay was written by Lynn Shelton and Megan Griffith. The book, which came out in January 2015, and tells the complete true story of how and why this group of criminals and fame seekers was exposed. There\’s a lot of new material in the book, including a guy who has been lying about receiving Purple Hearts and a Silver Star in the Gulf war, and claiming to be a 9/11 first responder
