I try not to be a hater but as someone whose worked a film fest that has seen his shorts, all i can say is that Danny Mooney\’s s directorial work so far has been near unwatchable. I\’m guessing he wrote AWOL because it\’s beyond my comprehension as to who would hire him to direct their script.

Not that it matters, but his characters are stale 1 dimensional and do the \”heavy, emotional acting\” every 3rd scene.

I guess he\’s a working using some connections to make this happen.
