The exploding scenery looked alot worse on a 50 inch plasma in hidef, but I'm not sure why. i rewatched it like 10 times, but still found it very jarring and odd. I think it has to do more with the speed than anything. So far, that scene as we've seen in previous trailers, has been show in slomo. This was almost fastmo, and because of that, almost looked like something from the Syfy channel.

As I understand it, the exploding scenery was mostly for real. The SFX crew supposedly did some black magic with smokeless explosives and pneumatics.

I saw this when it aired during game 7 of the NBA finals, and half of me was jazzed it was new footage but then the other hald was alittle taken aback by the CGI. Let's hope not because before this TV spot, I have loved every single frame of the film I've seen thus far.
