That said, the ideas which drove the original are so universally resonant that it’s not impossible it might be suitably retold in an American context, and the talent that’s orbiting around the project is enough to make me curious. This one could shape up to be a bad idea very well executed, which has gotta be better than a bad idea poorly executed… right?
