This is interesting. There have been rumors floating around that they are already in the process of construction on a "Skull Island / King Kong" attraction at Universal – Islands of Adventure in Florida. Similar to the California King Kong attraction, but it still didn't make sense why they would build it "now". This suddenly makes it makes sense.
