I saw a pre-screening of this, and I think this route is sort of mis-representing what it's really like. The new cut could be more violent…who knows.

Chastain seems like one of those actresses that just doesn't photo well. She's beautiful in motion but I've never seen a still photo of her that has made my jaw drop. Kind of like Anne Hathaway.

They're definitely going for the broad appeal with this one. Makes sense – entice an audience first and worry about awards campaigns later. But the Shia poster does look a bit like a GQ shoot.
