As long as Stewart keeps playing roles that are so close to her own life, she\’ll keep getting praised without showing any range or stretch as an actress. I can already imagine her PR rep hyping another "natural" performance. Of course it\’s natural, there\’s no acting involved. She won\’t even have to change her voice for this, something she\’s never done for any role in her whole life. I suppose she thinks this might be the role that will finally get her that Oscar nomination she\’s so thirsty for. Good luck with that.

I may not fully understand all of the character threads but from the article it sounds like Laura Albert is the writer, she used JT Leroy as her avatar (didn\’t exist), and Savannah Knoop played the part of Leroy in public. If so, wouldnt Leroy (titular character) and Knoop (person who publicly played the part of Leroy) be played by the same actress? And Sarah Albert would be played by the other actress.

I really hope Kristen will get Leroy\’s role. She has been rocking in androgynous looks and her ambiguous sexuality (as tabloids said) and her roles as both straight and lesbian women were equally acclaimed. To name a few are Lydia, Valentine, Joan Jett, Beth Travis, Nia, Marylou and Em Lewis. Just give her the role already. James Franco also expressed his desire to work with her after watching her as Snow White and hanging out with her in TIFF 2012.
