I\’m still going to keep the old Miramax box set. I like what they have though I still want the Criterion set for \”Trois Couleurs\” for its high-definition transfer and the additional features.

I\’m glad \”Rushmore\” is coming to Blu-Ray but I don\’t have a Blu-Ray and I can\’t afford one. If only they would allow stores to sell the DVD version on retail again so I could go get it.

BTW, what\’s up with the news for the Criterion DVDs for \”Y Tu Mama Tambien\”, \”The Game\”, and \”Belle de Jour\”? December releases?

I will totally be buying Three Colours and 12 Angry Men again. The covers for both are superb.

You can get excellent commentary tracks for each film on the solid Miramax box set of all three films that came out years ago and is still readily available. In fact, the new Criterion edition has several of the extras that the Miramax one does with a few new ones which makes this double-dip a little problematic. I suppose the transfers of each film on this new set will be marketably better, esp. on Blu-ray.
