She said Venom, Silver and Black, etc. would be set in the same world created for Spider-man and that those Sony films would be connected to each other also. She didn’t say they’d be connected or linked with the MCU directly….she even called them “adjuncts”. Obviously it makes sense to set those other movies in the same world as this Spider-man, that was the whole point of Sony letting Marvel reboot Spider-man.
