					<description><![CDATA[^ Don&#039;t let some women&#039;s distorted and highly misguided viewpoint of the novel cloud your opinion.  The characters ARE supposed to be unlikable monsters.  It&#039;s a gothic novel, not a romantic one.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Nevertheless, for some reason, some women view him as a Mr. Darcy-type, perhaps because his character has been softened a great deal in previous movie adaptations.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Actually, I&#039;ll be far more interested if they depict him as the puppy-murdering, woman and child abusing monster that he is in the novel.]]></description>
