I highly doubt Hollywood version will come close to the Korean version in …well…in every way. The Korean actress (Son Ye Jin) in the movie is mind-blowingly great. Yea – get out the box of kleenex before watching.

I'm glad she is finally stepping away from romcoms and trying her hand at a drama, she was actually pretty great on Grey's Anatomy. I'm looking forward to this.

I totally agree, there is noooooo way a Hollywood version will ever compare to the Korean version…the best " I love you" I have ever, ever , ever seen in a movie has been by Woo Sung Jung. I do not speak the language but God did I understand that part….I cried and cried. I repeated that scene a thousand times.

Hey – long before Greys Anatomy, Katherine Heigl, was outstanding in "Love Comes Softly". She is a remarkable actress and with Ben Lewin directing and Judi Levine producing this could become Grammy bound. Its downside for todays market standards is that there won't be the norm of sex, murder, violence and bloodshed. Without those for a measuring stick as to greatness, writers have to actually think.
