The Ben Brantley description made it sounds amazing and I can\’t remember a John C. Reilly movie that wasn\’t great.

I saw this lovely play on Broadway with the original cast, and it was perfection. I just pray this film and the actors do justice to the remarkable play. I not sure I would have hired Jodie Foster in this adaptation- Laura Linney , Holly Hunter, or Mary Louise Parker would have been wonderful casting.

P.S. It is rare for a well-regarded play to be adapted to a fine feature film. Doubt turned out to be a hideous film adaptation. Meryl Streep & Amy Adams didn\’t deserve their Oscar nominations for that lousy film.
