I'm glad Kate has decided to move away from playing boring depressed housewives and returns to interesting roles. There was a time when she had the courage to work on challenging roles instead of chasing the Oscar bait films.

I'm more looking foward to Jason Reitman's Labor Day because a) he had an insanely good track record- Thank You For Smoking, Juno, Up in the Air, Young Adult b) it's one of my favorite novels c) Kate Winslet and Josh Brolin- yowza!… only thing I'm worried about is the casting of the little boy who is essentially the lead character. The entire story is told from his perspective unless Reitman changes it up.

Kate Winslet definitely can sing.
