Granted, his later goes at films have been better than Carpenter\’s (The Ward was just… ugh) but I fear his reluctance is going to be what closes out his career. Not that he hasn\’t earned the right to be that way at this point – he\’s definitely done more for horror and the zombie "genre" than most people dabbling in it (film, television, games, so on) can hope to do in their own lifetimes. Anyway, he\’s spot on about Insidious. Entertaining as it was, it was absolutely lacking anything fresh for the type of film it is.
