hes not talented enough to get nominated, its a joke. i find it hard to believe there wasnt a better achievement in directing last year. great marketing and weak minds don’t equal great directing. why wasnt arrested development marketed that aggressively? i don’t see the difference in the products. oh wait AD was better.

Also? It gets really fucking boring after a while writing about the same films. We obviously wrote a shit-ton about "I'm Not There," but near the time of its release, you can't imagine how sick of it we were.

So yeah, often we just suck it up and write about it regardless.

Finally a commenter that I actually agree with. Stop the Juno insanity, yes. However, since movie soundtracks are our raison d'etre and therefore we feel obliged to write about "Juno" and its music-based success.

But yes, we're fucking dead sick of it too. That said, I do love when indie films perform better than studio films. It warms my fucking heart at night, so there is some pride there I guess.
