Thank god one director in 'this town' still has some integrity. I was never eager to see JGG, it always rang hollow, especially for a director of Ramsey's depth, I'm now looking forward to seeing her take on a project worth believing in.

The new rumors are that Ramsay's budget was significantly slashed ($9 million) when Fassbender left (due to 'Frank' running long, not the false "falling out"), she didn't want Jude Law, and her heads of department Tim Grimes and Darius Khondji are both leaving as well.

From the O'Connor announcement it didn't sound like they seriously hoped to start shooting tomorrow anymore, there's no way they can expect a decent vision from a complete gun-for-hire given no time to prepare his own treatment of the material. Maybe Fassbender will come back now with a more agreeable shotcaller haha.

Law does not really do anything for me, he is pretty dull in most movies anyway. If they can salvage this, whoever replaces him will be a better fit to play the villian I'm sure.

This is insane. I feel bad for the crew. Seems like the above the line egos are making everyone twist in the New Mexico wind, and they probably had to turn down jobs to take this one.
