Lol at \”not a writer\”. Bash him for the Gervais-stuff if you want, but Apatow\’s resume as a TV writer (Larry Sanders Show, Freaks & Geeks, Undeclared) is pretty friggin\’ amazing. All three of those shows are aces.

Agreed smash.
The fact that he said Ricky was terrible at the Globes was bullshit. This coming from a guy that tells people to say funny shit and he\’ll make a movie out of it.
And Apatow felt Ricky said some blows such as the weight shit and Scientologist gay or not stuff, yet he makes films dealing with immature bullies.

I hope Ricky Gervais shows up on set and heckles Apatow for a few days. Seriously, having a talented rolodex seems to be Apatow\’s method for scoring a solid movie. Don\’t get me wrong, i enjoy his work, but this barely having a script shit is weak. Oh well. whatever gets the job done i suppose. It just drives me nuts that he ragged on Gervais for writing mean-spirited jokes when meanwhile he\’s barely a writer in the first place and his rebuttal jokes were fucking terrible. He\’s just got really talented friends.

Heigl didn\’t talk shit about the Apatow crew EVER. Get your facts right. She was asked if she thought the portrayal of the female roles in the movie was a little sexist and she said she thought it was (insert famous quote here), adding she hopes women realized the exaggerated characters were what made the humor. That was it. No trash talking. Nothing like it.
