We all know that Rami and company dropped the ball with Venom, and now they have the chance to get it right…but at the same time we gotta remember that this is Hollywood and they are not known for "getting it right". I'll hope for the best and expect the worst along with a possible refund.

Please clarify your statement for me. A few people (including myself) seem to think Venom is one of the best characters ever created in the Spider-man universe. More than a few people (including myself) get really excited when he's mentioned in an upcoming film. And more than a few people (myself included) have been disappointed with Hollywood's lackluster attempts at bringing him to the big screen. That not Venom's fault though. The source material is there. The background story is there. The character arc is there. All that's needed is someone familiar enough and passionate enough with the IP to properly bring it to life. The Iron Man movies had and/or have Jon Favreau. If there is no one out there in Hollywood with the same level of enthusiasm, then Venom's on screen appearances will continue to disappoint. Just my opinion though. Thanks for your time.
