I don't think these new comments make him look any better than the Rolling Stone article. First of all, he needs to learn what "prideful" means. Second of all, just because Martin Scorcese cast you doesn't mean you're suddenly the be all and end all. You lucked out by getting to work with a great director, but it doesn't give you a license to go around acting like a dick and talking down to people who are just doing their job. (And yeah, I'm sure all the topless models you and Leo are yachting around with in Australia are really trying to develop "honest relationships" with you.)

He is who he is- someone who is dying to be taken seriously, and perhaps is a really good actor, but does not have an easy going personality like his on screen characters. Unfortunately, he's better off not doing interviews because he is going to eventually turn enough people off. He's the male equivalent of GOOP.
