					<description><![CDATA[Hate to say it but his quote smacks of someone new the scoring game thinking they are doing something really original.  It&#039;s not that it&#039;s been done, it&#039;s that it&#039;s practically convention.  It was David Torn&#039;s career for a couple decades before he established himself as a composer.  Almost every score since the 90&#039;s (especially in tv) uses elec guitars in this way, sometimes instead of orchestra.  Asche &#038; Spencer do it really well (Monster&#039;s Ball is amazing sounding), as does Cliff Martinez, Clint Mansell, etc.  &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I hope he comes up with some cool crazy ass sounding shit, just wish new-to-film musicians would have a little more awareness.]]></description>
