Absolutely nothing in The Expendables pointed or alluded to a \”last hurrah\” and sorry if you (and occasionally some of the authors) would seem to rather see older actors set out on the proverbial ice floe. Tell us your vision instead of one \”full of old people\”…Jesse Eisenberg, Neil Patrick Harris, Zac Efron, John Cho, Kevin James, a few from \”Glee\” and Steve Carell could be a nice cast-against-type \”Reboot\” of the elderly franchise, you think?

I\’m more than willing to pay ten dollars to see a bunch of old people kick ass and perform very old school stunts.

These films don\’t have insane budgets so it\’s not as if they are taking away a bunch of money that could be poured into smaller films, and the first one actually helped me connect with my pops cinematically.

I\’m so in.

The Expendables was cool as a last hurrah. But the point of it was as a LAST hurrah. Not some new franchise full of old people.
