For once I\’d just like a release of these films that actually feels like someone took their time on them instead of glossing over things in order to keep the money train chugging along. The little overlooks on the Blu-Ray releases, while minor, are otherwise bewildering to see that someone in a quality control type role just decided to overlook certain discrepancies.

I\’ll bet someone just misunderstood Landis, who probably only meant that the three original movies will be given a re-release to promote the new films, but in their altered forms.
