Jeremy Renner wasn't a box office draw for HURT LOCKER, but he was swell. Expect the same for Edgerton. Ramirez in CARLOS, Chastain in TREE/SHELTER, and Strong in TINKER TAILOR leave little doubt that this'll be one of the best casts of 2012. Bigelow's casting ability is among the best out there. Up there with Fincher and Dominik.

Thank God! Joel Edgerton is a terrific actor. Too bad Warrior went unnoticed. He was amazing in Animal Kingdom as well. Very underrated actor.

I think Rashida Jones and Charlize Theron should be in contention… idk why but they seem like good fits for this kind of film. Jones has proven she can do both comedy and drama. As for Theron, well duh… she's just brilliant. I guess they aren't looking for big movie stars though so probably Jones is the best fit.

Why would you be "worried" about Joel Edgerton being involved? I'm more worried they are going with the guy from flops like Warrior and The Thing who is basically a Sam Worthington close. Not to mention The Odd Life of Timothy Green and The Great Gatsby 3D both look to be pretty big disasters.

His got an amazing agent for getting him "buzz" but this guy is beyond unimpressive.
