@Shingle. Agreed, but c'mon A-Team? I hope he doesn't make it a wacky comedy. It's cornball enough as it is.

I feel bad for Carnahan. The guy was trying to get his WHITE JAZZ adaptation off the ground, but that became embroiled in a series of mishaps: Pine, who had been cast in a main role, went off to do Star Trek; the LA CONFIDENTIAL producers announced plans for a sequel not related to James Ellroy's series–which would include Guy Pearce's character Exley, a main character in JAZZ, forcing Carnahan to change that character, and killed any continuity from CONFIDENTIAL; then Clooney–who was to star as Dave Klein–dropped out. And that's only what I remember. Then his BUNNY LAKE IS MISSING remake BUNNY with Reese Witherspoon didn't take off for whatever reason…
I really think the guy just wants to work again, source material be damned.

I hope the A-Team fails. Get the slap-stick action ready. I can see it being Smoking Aces set in a van, or whatever their team car is. I can't stand the MMA casting selection either.

That's too bad. Chris Pine would be a great pick for Murdoch. I can't believe that they start filming in the next week or so and still don't have Murdoch cast…

Chris Pine is also committed for "Unstoppable", so looks very difficult than he can play Murdoch.
