It was like a Charles Bronson revenge thriller flick. In fact her performance was acclaimed, but the one thing that held her back people said was the kind of film it was-not Oscar material. And the Beaver was staring Mel Gibson and was too weird. Had no chance. Carnage will be her first real would-be Oscar film since Nell really.
