I loved it- it shows why we love Mel-he’s an amazingly great actor…Let’s see how you all do when you’re recorded 24/7 and your soon to be ex is egging you on–you know many of us have had things end badly and said stupid things but we do not have it being recorded-cut the guy some slack..

Foster gave an interview to Us Magazine back in \’94 after she had directed Little Man Tate that also railed against in Hopper, when asked about \”Catchfire\” (aka Backtrack) directly:

\”There\’s a tradition of directors that basically become director\’s so that they can abuse women and make them cry. Then, as they watch this crawling creature who has absolutely no confidence left, they can say, \”Come, let me give you confidence.\” As a director, I\’ll never be a part of that.\”
