Well, the world was waiting with abated breath for how Pine and Quinto would do their iconic roles justice. Especially when Shatner and Nimoy were both alive at the time. Can\’t wait to see Pine steal scenes in Wet Hot American Summer.

Chris Pine had big shoes to fill when he took the role of Captain Kirk, and he totally delivered. An even better performance of his "genius" is Smokin Aces where he played a neo-nazi named Darwin Tremor.

Chris Pine definitely impresses as Kirk in both Star Trek & Into Darkness, but if you want to see "genius" Chris Pine, check out his unhinged performance in Joe Carnahan\’s wild (and wildly under seen) Stretch.

Chris Pine does give interesting performances. Kevin, he didn\’t say Pine is "a f*cking genius"; he said Pine is "f*cking genius". There\’s a big difference between those two phrases.

Chris Pine is pretty damn fantastic in that first Star Trek film. Remember when I first saw it and thought it was a true star-making turn. Things haven\’t worked as well since, but damn is he good in that film.
