Yes!! Nice to see some supporters of \’The Village\’. I adore it. The rhythm to the dialogue (especially William Hurt\’s character), the colour, atmosphere, performances, music & cinematography are all excellent. The stabbing scene is in fact one of my favourite in history. The cinematography, editing & sound all combine to make that scene in particular a real gut punch.

i agree with everyone…the village is a really good movie. the concept was stellar. i believe shayamalan at the the time was the only choice for the director\’s chair, but had the project been in the hands of a better director and it could have been a classic.
