While Darryl makes the most sense as the new boss, in order to be really funny The Office needs a boss that is either A) Incompetent, or B) Mean, and Darryl isn\’t really either of those.

Darryl is going to be the new boss. It\’s been telegraphed that way all season long, with his move upstairs and his increasingly mentor-style relationship with most of the regular cast.

Also, \”Community\” is absolutely nowhere near \”The Office\” – never has been, never will be.

community and 30 rock has never been superior to the office, parks and recreation is getting there. but people really need to stop overrating those two shows.

having said that, i agree that the last two seasons of the office haven\’t been up to par, but i\’ve recently re-watched seasons 4 and 5 via reruns and they\’re hilarious. and of course seasons 2 and 3 are classics.
