Your defense of each film is immaculately reasoned and beautifully written. My list was very similar, but, unlike you, I had The Duke of Burgundy and Mustang just behind my #1 choice. At any rate, it\’s always a treat and a thrill to read you Ms. Kiang. Looking forward to more.

This list makes me curious about Kiang\’s nationality. I guess I just assumed she was American before, but this makes me think she is from another English-speaking country?

I had already considered Jessica to be my favorite critic to read but seeing Queen of Earth in the top 10 seals it for me. I look forward to reading your reviews and finding great film through your writing in 2016.
