@KT: I happened to read the the script too (it was a leaked copy online that has since been taken down - don\'t look for it now) and have to agree with you.

My biggest complaint is that Justin Haythe\'s \"three-dimensonal humanization\" of Tonto isn\'t entertaining or compelling; it was actually pretty offensive, more like something I\'d see at a fake \"Powwow show\" at an Indian casino than something true to the real Great Plains tribes. I just hope Disney is prepared to face the millions of indigenous Americans who will be pissed off by this.

Long story short: Disney should have revived Ocean Girl instead of this crap.

I\'m sure this will make boatloads of money, regardless. Personally, I thought the supernatural elements were the only bullet-points about the film that sounded interesting.

Supernatural coyotes or not, I read the script over the weekend and GOTDAMN it was terrible.

Really, the only good action scene was the coyote/wolf assault in the ghost town and now that that\'s being written out...

I mean, throughout the whole script not once did I care for these characters. All of them were very one-dimensional with the exception of Tonto.

... And yet this what they throw millions at.
