Opinions are like assholes – sparky & bongos are both douches… However the concept is pretty cool. If it’s played straight like you suggest, it sounds like it could be a modern-day (as in when it’s made, not the setting) Rififi – I really love the methodical hesit films of the past.

That is without a doubt THE most over-cited and misunderstood scenario in the last decade. As if actors have any control over WHEN their films will be released. They can have done 6 films in a two-year period, and then have the bloody misfortune of them getting released all at one time. Not to mention he was only a cameo in one of them and a narrator in another. It\’s wasn\’t a \”strategy.\”
I chalk it up to lack of imagination on the part of the writers who use it, though. I mean, really.
