Lawrence is not oblivious, she\'s just not a greedy studio head. Artistically, the market will be oversaturated with THG movies, you can create audience-fatigue if the sequels are too close together. THG fans want the prequels for this series, they won\'t move on if Lionsgate waits awhile. If you\'re a fan of the "games" portion of the books, you won\'t suddenly lose interest 3 years from now. Look at the way there\'s a lot of interest in The Huntsman, and that franchise started in 2012, and the prequel doesn\'t even have Snow White in it, lol. Just shows how a franchise can go on successfully without its leading lady, which is what will happen with THG franchise now.

She\'s oblivious. Attention spans these days don\'t have time for a movie to "get cold," not this day and age. I say give it four years then revisit it but no more than that. James Cameron has waited too long for Avatar that it may not have the same appeal. Release more before Hunger Games fan find a new franchise to cling to.
