Don\’t like this role for Jen. She just turned 20, she is old enough to be Mark\’s daughter. Playing a widow and his love interest is really, really stretching it. Can\’t they find an actor that\’s like in his 20\’s for her love interest? What\’s next Ryan Gosling and Hailee Steinfeld as lovers?

lol, this is ridiculous and shortsighted. The role in Savages was the throwaway type of \”girlfriend in trouble\” trope – nothing meaty about it at all, and I can\’t remember the last time Oliver Stone made a decent movie.

It\’s perfect for useless people like Blake Lively, actors of actual talent shouldn\’t waste their time with things like this.

Lawrence is indeed a promising actress, but also, uh, 20-years-old. She is way, way too young for this role. McAdams or Banks would\’ve been more suitable, especially when you consider this role is meant to be a love interest opposite Mark Wahlberg.
