Murphy has done his share of trainwreck, semi-arty, straight-to-DVD nonsense in the last few years, but this one sounds so silly that it almost HAS to be a parody. (Of what, I have no idea.) Please back away from the nonsense script and find yourself another play, Cillian. ("Misterman" was nonstop brilliance.) Or, if not, do have fun filming a load of unreleasable New Age hooey (faith healers and falcon-keepers: really?)… in Manitoba… in February… with an actress who did her best work getting outclassed by David Bowie and a herd of Muppets. Knock yourself out, pal.

I'm exhausted by my love for Cillian the Great – torn between his astonishing acting performances on stage and screen and then finding that hardly anybody knows or cares about them. I can only hope that sooner or later he does a mainstream part that knocks the world at large for six and he has to come on to the radar a bit more so that I can rest easy
