That's news to me, I just know him from his current project, Supernatural. So I know that he can play the tough guy, just not the buff guy this role calls for. If he had been cast it would have been the same mistake Sam Rami made when he cast That 70's Show's Topher Grace as Eddie Brock. Talented actor, but just wrong for the role.

Nispel obliterates Ratner. Sorry, but Nispel's remake of Chainsaw was truly frightening and has extremely high production values and acting. If you ask the 'me' generation which they prefer, they pick Nispel at an alarming rate. Not that anyone expects a horror movie to get a favorable word at this site. Pathfinder was truly horrible though.
