Very pleased with 2049. Understandably not a mass-appeal type of movie, but I have a feeling that in time it will turn a decent profit. Would be nice to see another film; I expect one based on how 2049 ends.

Man, we need a sequel to the masterpiece that Blade Runner 2049 is asap. From Scorsese's Silence to mother! to this, average moviegoers are just brainless.

Yes, the film demands your patience and it’s definitely the kind of moody, deeply existential and cerebral experience one could easily expect from someone like Villeneuve (who’s build an entire filmography of such films) but having the ability to watch a film of such jaw-dropping quality in a movie theater, a future classic, is something that to me one ows to themselves. Haven’t been such enthusiastic about a studio, high-budgeted film since Mad Max: Fury Road and Logan. A MASTERPIECE with a capital M. Leto killed it as Wallace by the way but then who doesn't in Villeneuve's cinema? I so wished for a breakout role for the stunning Ana De Armas since Knock Knock and she knocked it out of the park as Joi.

I'm telling you, go see the movie people, in the largest screen possible. I doubt you'll regret it if you have an inch of artistic sensibility in you.
