I love Grays's little talk, I find him extremely interesting as a filmmaker & as a person.
I'm very interested in this project BTW, It looks very ambitious & not Michael Bay-esque!

Sounds like a great concept so far but I feel I have to mention that there are lots of astronauts who are the exact opposite of what Gray's saying, lots of men and women come back from space claiming the experience of viewing the earth objectively as a whole thing has given them some sort of unifying epiphany, forever altering them for the better. There's even a website promoting the concept that's run by ex-NASA astronauts who believe the experience could have serious benefits for humanity/could cause world peace etc. Anyways I hope Gray goes through with this, I've enjoyed all his films so far and it would definitely be awesome if we could return to an era of sci-fi that didn't rely solely on spectacle (and with this, Gravity, and the Nolan film, I think it might happen)
