This guy looks anywhere from mid-30s to late-40s. If the plan is to have the son take over the franchise, like Bourne, that age range might make sense, but if the plan is for the continuation of Bruce, then shouldn't the son be late teenage to early 20s? I'm not even sure a Die Hard franchise without Bruce makes sense, unless it is a full on reboot of the first movie. He is a common man who somehow gets caught up with terrorist types. It isn't his job to go looking for them. It would be mighty strange if his son just happens to have his "luck" in that regard.
