They\’ve always been there, but it\’s because now their leaders have gotten tired of being the henchmen for politicians (yes, I said it) and have started talking about the ties between the government and the murder rate … now is when the gangs are starting to get more press exposure outside of Yard.

This remake actually makes sense. The topic is salient again what with the rise of Jamaican drug gangs. I can just imagine the grittiness of the Kingston slums portrayed on screen and the hot, dancehall beats on the soundtrack.

This project sounds a lot better that Total Recall.
