The effects for \”Changeling\” took so long to process that Clint ended up making \”Gran Torino\” in his spare time.

Also, the screenplay is very nonlinear and jumps between past and present with a lot of match cuts and the like. I\’m not really that surprised that Clint is taking his time with the editing in that sense.
